Rooibos & Glucoside Microbiome Body Wash
Sulphate-free, pH-balanced, microbiome-respecting
A sulphate-free body wash formulated at skin-physiologic pH 5.2. Built around mild plant-derived glucoside surfactants and rooibos extract for antioxidant defence during cleansing. Designed to clean without disrupting the skin microbiome.

On pH
Healthy skin sits at pH 4.7–5.5. Most body washes are pH 8–10, which strips the acid mantle and leaves the skin temporarily compromised. We formulate at 5.2 specifically — the centre of healthy skin’s natural range.
On surfactants
Coco-glucoside and decyl glucoside are non-ionic surfactants derived from coconut and corn sugar. They cleanse meaningfully but mildly. Cocamidopropyl betaine adds foam texture (humans expect cleansers to foam — we work with the expectation rather than against it). Sodium cocoyl glutamate is a glutamic-acid-derived anionic surfactant, mild and skin-compatible.
How to use
Lather a small amount in wet hands or on a soft cloth. Wash, rinse thoroughly. Two minutes maximum — over-cleansing is a real problem.
When not to use
Avoid eye contact. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
