On milk soaps
Milk soaps have a long history in cosmetic use. The actual mechanism is straightforward: milk is a source of naturally-occurring lactic acid and fat, both of which soften the cleansing character of a soap bar. Goat milk fat has a higher proportion of short and medium-chain fatty acids than cow milk, which gives it a finer texture and a different spread on skin.
On the marbling
The dark marbling in this bar comes from activated charcoal added to a small portion of the batter before blending. It is a natural visual variation across each batch — no two bars are identical. The charcoal adds a secondary impurity-binding effect alongside the emollient character of the milk base.
How to use
Wet your hands or a soft cloth. Lather the bar gently. Apply to face or body. Rinse thoroughly. Store on a breathable soap dish to extend bar life. Suitable for daily use.
